Cellumat launches stone that insulates
Aerated concrete has been used to construct houses in Sweden since 1937. The producer most familiar to us is Ytong. For some years now, Cellumat has also been producing high quality and innovative cellular concrete for residential and industrial construction at a brand new plant in Valenciennes.
Batibouw 2011: all materials
At Batibouw 2011, BBC launched the Energiebloc® for Cellumat, a stone with very high insulating power, absolutely ideal for outdoor walls.
The big advantage is that the same insulating value as a quick build stone covered with extra insulation material is obtained with Cellumat alone. And the benefits of one homogenous construction without extra insulation material speak for themselves.
Campaign linked to Batibouw
BBC gave Energiebloc® the slogan "The stone which insulates" and it’s worthy of it: after all, it’s in first place on the government’s EPB-ranking. In order to add weight to the benefits of the insulating stone, the campaign “Walls to love” started with Batibouw; because Cellumat is not only warm in the winter, it’s also cool in the summer. And on top of that, it’s more economic and more sustainable.
All these advantages can also be seen illustrated through short videos on the new website www.desteendieisoleert.be
