03/10/2007 - BASE’s legendary recruitment campaign
BASE wishes to improve its image as an attractive employer. To this aim, BBC developed a campaign based on urban legends: made-up stories about applying and working at BASE, tongue-in-cheek style. The campaign fully complements BASE’s brand image, positioning itself as a ‘challenger’ on the market with its refreshing and unconventional approach.
BASE advertises in job pages of many newspapers. But we want to invite jobseekers to discover more vacancies on www.base.be/careers. This career site has undergone a major redesign. Moreover, applicants can now request more job details by sending a simple sms, after which a full job description is immediately delivered to their mailbox.
In a later stage, the campaign will be echoed in other … unconventional media.
