Fairest remuneration

You need to asses advertising agencies on the added value they bring and you can only get an idea of this by working with qualified professional people who are all strong in their own specific field. The fairest form of remuneration for an agency is based on an hourly rate.

Advertising agencies generally work on an hourly rate basis. Each job function has its own cost per hour. At BBC we apply rates not for the type of job function, but for the sort of work we carry out. Providing strategic advice therefore is more expensive than co-ordinating a direct mailing, even though this work may be carried out by the same person. A list of our hourly rates is available on request.

Detailed cost estimate

At the start of a project, the account manager who will be handling your project from beginning to end will prepare an estimate. This will give you a fairly good idea of how much the campaign will cost you and the weight of each of the communication tools therein. This estimate will act as a basis for discussion and will be fine-tuned together with you.

When working out each of the communication tools separately, you will be given a detailed cost estimate including an estimated number of hours for completing the work. External costs are also estimated and included in the total estimate. This estimate provides you with a fixed budget. Modifications to this estimate are only made following approval by you.
